FAQDo you sell franchises? No. We display a wide range of opportunities available in both Northern Ireland and the Republic and will assist you to ascertain which category suits your set of circumstances, putting you in contact with any particular company that is of interest to you. Can you send me a list of franchise opportunities? We don't send lists out as they rapidly become obsolete. Opportunities available are constantly changing as territories are taken up by incoming franchisees. New opportunities also become available on a regular basis as companies expand into Ireland. Having met with you, we will tell you about current opportunities available within the territory, in which you wish to work. Do I need an appointment to come into the Centre? Yes, we only see people by appointment. Please telephone us on 028 9147 7950 to arrange a suitable appointment time. What happens if I don't see anything I want? Once entered onto our database, we will keep you informed of any new opportunities within your investment level, providing you meet the profile of that particular company. Do I need experience in the franchise opportunity that I am interested in? Experience in a particular field is not always necessary, but this can vary depending on the type of franchise you are interested in. Many franchisors prefer people from diverse backgrounds. Can I change my career direction - I'm fed up with my job, I want something different? Yes, we can help you to match your experience and skills to opportunities that that allow you to diversify, taking into account your investment ability and lifestyle requirements. However, it may be advantageous for you to find a franchise in an area that you are familiar with, where you can use the practical skills/contacts that you have built up over the years. I need financial and legal advice - can you help? Yes, we can put up in contact with our Board of Professionals consisting of solicitors, accountants, banks and financial advisers, who have franchising experience, and will advise you at each step along the way. How much money do I need to have? Franchise opportunities start from under £10,000. As a rough guide a franchisee will usually be required to have at least one-third of the total investment level required. Borrowing ability will depend on individual circumstances. Why is franchising seen as less of a risk? Going into business through a Business Format Franchise, is generally recognised by the banks, as being less of a risk than starting a business on your own, particularly for people who have no business experience. A franchisor provides a proven business formula and track record, while the franchisee brings his skills and experience to the franchise, along with his local knowledge. Provided the franchisee has assessed both the business opportunity and themselves properly, the potential exists for a very powerful partnership. Please contact us for more information. |
